Sunday, Blessed Sunday!

You know that feeling when you wake up with a great idea....
My lifetime friends Birthday is today...We always said "when we grow old we;re going to wear purple crocheted hats and have a twin seater mobility I thought, for a laugh, I'd make a little word book with some comical senior citizens!!

And the box!

Nina loved it! Though I think she's overloaded with chocolates!! Happy Birthday, my friend.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 53

It's been a few days..but I'm here!!

I have had a lovely time with this latest challenge from The Sugar Bowl.

I used lace around the edge of a circle plate card, made my own embellishment with more lace and a heart shaped button. I used a crimper on some Whitewash card stock to achieve the cupboard door effect. I hope you like my efforts.

Theme suggestion

and card

I hope you like it!!

Venetian Elegance

I was asked to make a special card for a 16 year old daughter, the Debbi Moore Venetian CD came in very handy..
The card has a popup mask inside and a dome acetate front covering the decoupaged lady. Finishing touch of a glttered mask and ribbons. The box envelope is from a tutorial on split coast stampers.

Thanks for looking.

Sugar Bowl Chalenge 52

Well we're already into the second month of the year, doesn't time fly while crafting!

For this chalenge I made a birthday card for my granddaughter to give her mum and a valentine card....
not being able to decide which one to they both are!

Firstly, the template..

My first try....Leanne Ellis "Luvvie"s stamp

and the second one.. Leanne Ellis "To remember" stamp

I used the Lace wing butterfly stamp to create the wings...

I hope you like them..thanks for looking in.
