Sugar Bowl Challenge 60

Hi,It's that time again! Another challenge from the Sugar Bowl Blog. I had three of the new Simply Sassy's this week, so I used Amelia, with her feet in the clouds!
The Layout:-
The suggested theme:- Birthday
And here's my efforts!
I used Amelia and found the quote, from Amelia Earhart, on the internet. I designed my own backing paper, using a sepia photo of clouds and a small image of a bi plane. Also made the ribbon strip and greeting, with Photoshop. A close up of the image. I used Pro markers and kept to the brown tones.

I hope you like my creation!

Had a bad visit to GP on Tuesday and it's kinda thrown me a wobbly one. Hey ho that's life.
Have shut myself in my craft room for a few days and made a few cards.
One for the "Pink" challenge on Facebook Sugar Nellies..using part of the lovely RAK sent to me by Shell. Dont ask where the baking paper came from as it's embarrassing!!!

Terrible picture for this one. I may try laoding a different one...
Stamped and embossed Dragon on a beautiful backgroud of vellum and matching paper layers.

And lastly, made up this with left overs from previous crd and a stamped and embossed oriental home stamp.

See you all tomorrow!

Two down and two to go!

Evening, I had a play with a few bits and bobs to create something with a French feel to it...
I have completed two and have enough bits left to create two more tomorrow.
With this one, I stamped Oh La La onto a printed Paper with a medalion on one side. I then cut around her and mounted the page onto a contrasting paper. I cut a black and white image of the Eiffle tower and used some gold rub to tone it in. I then slid the tower in behind the centre panel. I tore a piece of french journal, layered up a L'adore Paris message, added ribbon, flowers and metal corner piece. I put a small paper rose in her hand. Voila!!

With this one I layered up toning papers, used gold rub on the corners and on the wood embellishment and again on the image of eiffle tower. I layered up a plaque (with Amour wording) with tower and Oh La La and Laid Back Dude. I had a ribbon with flower slider, more torn journal and flowers. I put a small paper rose in her hand. Voila!
Back tomorrow..

No Pictures today!

Morning all,
Have to go out delivering handmade cards today...nearly as cheap as posting them!
I do have a little idea in mind, using peel off stars-ripped paper, dark blue inks and some off to play in my craft room this afternoon.
Hope you all have a lovely day.
P.S. Hayley...your prize is in the post!
